Engle - Lillie Faust

Mrs. Lillie Belle Engle, 91, widow of Brenton Engle, Montgomery County farmer, died Saturday afternoon in the Rest Haven Nursing Home here. She had been in failing health two years. Born June 6, 1874 in Montgomery County, Mrs. Engle was the daughter of Aaron Franklin Faust and Sarah Thompson Faust. She married Brenton Engle March 9, 1895. Mrs. Engle was a member of the Mace Methodist Church. The family home for many years was southwest of Linnsburg. Previously Mr. and Mrs. Engle had farmed near Thorntown. Survivors include a brother, Homer Faust, Rt. 1, Thorntown; two sisters. Mrs. Effie Hugelheim and Mrs. June Elmore, both of Crawfordsville; three nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be at the Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, beginning at noon Monday. – jlr
